Ingredients
- 150g All purpose flour
- 200g Caster sugar
- 50g Butter
- 1/2L Milk
- 2 Egg yolk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Vanilla pod

Instructions
- In a pan, add the milk and the butter and heat it up with a low - medium heat.
- Split the vanilla down its length and scrape out the seeds. Add the seeds and the vanilla pod in the milk.
- Whisk the eggs for few seconds then and the warm milk slowly into the egg.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour and the sugar.
- Pour the milk mixture in 3 batches at the center of the flour and whisk well in-between each additions.
- Allow the mixture to rest for at least 2 hours in the fridge. (10 – 12 hours is better)
- Preheat your oven at 220°C and grease all the pan.
- Pour the mixture in each of your pan and bake for 20 minutes at 220°C.
- Reduce the temperature to 180°C and continue the baking process for 10 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the pan.
